sshl logoSigtunaskolan Humanistiska Läroverket (SSHL) is one of Sweden’s most renowned schools, with its historical roots dating back to the 1920s.  Located just north of Stockholm, SSHL is a boarding school that currently has just under two hundred boarders and around four hundred and fifty day students with representation from around forty five different countries.  Working very much within a Swedish conception of international education, SSHL offers students two clear routes through the school; via the IB MYP and DP programme, as well as through the Swedish National Curriculum from Year 7 upwards.  Our ambition is to constantly work for the pupil’s best.

SSHL is now seeking applications for a Math teacher (60 – 70 %) – the role will involve working primarily with students in Swedish Gymnasium undertaking their lessons in English.

Your profile:

Ideally, you will hold qualified teacher status or similar and have experience working in an independent or international school setting. 

As a person you will be resilient, flexible and structured. You will be able to develop positive relationships with all members of the school community and you will be committed to delivering a high quality educational experience.  The desire to take responsibility and the capacity to adopt a solution-oriented approach to your work is vital, as is the ability to manage time effectively. 

The position is available from August 10, 2016.
